    • Analysis of the polymer prepared by SIP and degrafted from the support might generally bring valuable information about the grafting process, such as MW and a drafting density of tethered chains. To this end, we attempted SIP of PF2/6 from silica particles (large specific surface area) modified with 2. The polymer layer was separated with HF. Only a marginal deposition of PF2/6, however, occurred in this experiment, most likely, because of unavoidable wetting of the particles by the water phase, that in the experiments with planar surfaces was found to be the factor suppressing the grafting
