    • Sexual partners for the stressed: facultative outcrossing in the self-fertilizing Nematode C. elegans
    • Dauer conditions increase the number of males through increased male mating behavior. This is strain-specific and does not happen with N2 animals. Although there is no chemical associated with this observation, it suggests an important mechanism to link mating and dauer behaviors.

Dauer conditions increase the number of males through increased male mating behavior. This is strain-specific and does not happen with N2 animals. Although there is no chemical associated with this observation, it suggests an important mechanism to link mating and dauer behaviors.
