In the case of Ha, the steady-state Stern, Volmer plots show that, under both pH conditions, the slope (Κqτ0) is 1 order of magnitude lower than those observed for the other four βC alkaloids studied (see Supporting Information, However, taking into account the fluorescence lifetime of Ha reported in the literature (τo, 6.6 ± 0.2 ns),53 a quenching rate constant of Κq ∼ 109 M-1 s-1 was also obtained, which is quite similar to those observed for the other βCs studied in the present work
