    • Note that in the normal trap the excitons travel to the trap center downhill potential energy gradient that may increase the exciton temperature.24 In turn, in the elevated trap traveling uphill may reduce the exciton temperature. However, in the presented experiments this is inessential since the estimated number of excitons which can overpass the potential energy hill and reach the elevated trap is small compared to the number of excitons created in the trap due to the tails of the laser excitation
