    • Electrospray mass spectrometry of bacterially expressed IFP1.4 holoprotein in 5% acetonitrile, 0.05% trifluoroacetic acid reported an average relative molecular mass (Mr) of 36,342 daltons, within experimental error of the Mr (36,332 daltons) expected from covalent incorporation of BV (582.6 daltons) into the apoprotein (35,749.6 daltons) from Ala2 to the C terminus.
