    • Fluorescence spectra were recorded on a Fluorolog Jobin Yvon Horiba at room temperature where the spectral width was from 400 nm to 650 nm, excitation wavelength 380 nm 9,10-DCA, a PET sensitizer is also used in these reactions. Indeed 9,10-DCA resulted in the dehydrogenation process. There was over 50% conversion within 5 h of irradiation
