    • Bacterial infection-mediated mucosal signalling induces local renal ischaemia as a defence against sepsis
    • A very important study (not only) from a technological viewpoint. In vivo imaging has been used to unravel the pathophysiology during bacterial infection on the cellular level. Resolving events on the cellular level in the context of a living organ will be very important to understand how bacterial effectors function in vivo during the process of infection.
