57. 4, and after filtration, the solvent was removed on a rotary evaporator. The remaining crude product was chromatographed on preparative TLC plates, eluent: n-hexane, affording pure product 1 as a pale yellow liquid (216 mg, 21%), and traces of compound 2 (7 mg, 0.6%) with regard to the starting alkene.
