18. The sulfur containing compound 13 was prepared from 2-mercaptobenzaldoxime ether according to the procedure described in Scheme 1. The two-step yield of the compound 13 was 77% and the m-CPBA oxidation of 13 provided the compound 14 in 68% yield.
