    • pH values for the enhanced waters range between 3 and 4 for all 7 beverages. Blanks at different pHs (pH 4, 5, and 6) yielded similar responses. This suggests that response patterns generated by samples containing metal ions within this range of pH are mainly due to the presence of metal ions. Also, we did not observe any effect on the solubility of the tested cations within this range of pH.
