22. We used rather stringent condition (equimolar addition of Fmoc-Leu, HOBt, BOP, and DIEA, 2 equiv each) on purpose for comparison of the CS resin and TentaGel. When we used an excess amount of DIEA (1.5 equiv of other reagents), the CS resin and TentaGel showed similar properties in the first amino acid coupling.
