In our first report on m-CPBA oxidation of aryl iodides, the m-CPBA was used without drying ref 24, However, new, commercially available cans of m-CPBA were found to contain large and variable amounts of H2O, and drying under vacuum at room temperature for 1 h was necessary to obtain reproducible results. The percentage of active oxidizing agent was determined by iodometric titration; see the Supporting Information for further details
