In the quantum domain at low temperatures and in the vicinity of the edge of the superconducting dome, the coupling between the nodal fermions in high- Tc superconductors and quantum critical phase-fluctuations of the superconducting order parameter (i.e., vortices) will lead to unusual behavior.
