Physiological adaptation in desert birds
-
Alban Guillaumet is interested in speciation, biogeography and species coexistence in vertebrates and plants. His work is dedicated to the inference of the evolutionary history of avian species by the combination of molecular and phenotypic data, and to the identification of broad-scale evolutionary and ecological processes in migrant birds. Jean-Baptiste Ferdy develops theoretical models of evolution (e.g. of mutualism) and was involved in the statistical analysis of the data. Eric Desmarais is interested in molecular evolution and participated in the laboratory work. Bernard Godelle has broad interests in evolutionary biology, ranging from bacterial mutation rates to human evolution. Pierre-André Crochet is interested in systematics, speciation and the biogeography of birds, amphibians and reptiles. Editor: Brett Riddle
