Schrag is the Climate Research Program Officer for the World Wildlife Fund-Northern Great Plains Program with interests in the ecological impacts of climate change and long-term monitoring of biodiversity in relation to human activities. Andrew G. Bunn is an assistant professor at Western Washington University with research interests in late Holocene climate variability and the implications of Anthropocene climate-change impacts on ecosystem structure and function. Lisa J. Graumlich is the Director of the School of Natural Resources at the University of Arizona. She is an ecologist with a career-long interest in climate variability and tree-line forests.
