    • Crystal structure of the DsbB-DsbA complex reveals a mechanism of disulfide bond generation
    • This paper describes the first structure of the membrane protein DsbB, revealing that it has a similar architecture to the eukaryotic, but soluble, Ero1p, and Erv2p proteins. A stable complex of DsbB with DsbA was formed by mutating-specific cysteines in each protein to alanine. The resulting structure shows how a mobile redox loop in DsbB relays oxidizing equivalents to the active site of DsbA.
