    • 2O dissolved in 1 ml water, was added into the solution of lanthanide ions. The mixed liquid was sealed and kept under the temperature of 80 °C for six days. Colorless crystals suitable for X-ray analysis were obtained. Yield of complex 1: 0.1040 g, 37.3% based on the Tb. Elemental analysis (EA): Cacld. for 1: C 27.10, H 3.57, N 4.52. Found: C 27.05, H 3.64, N 4.53.

    • Dehydration of 1: complex 1 was heated at 250 °C in an oven for 2 h to obtain 1a. Adsorption water of 1a: 1a was exposed to a moist environment (by keeping the sample in a double-layer dessicator that contained water in its bottom) for 12 h, and complex 1b was obtained.
