Bacteriophage T7 DNA ejection into cells is initiated by an enzyme-like mechanism
-
A follow-up study to those in citations [7,8]. It shows the constant rate and temperature-dependence of the rate of genome entry catalyzed by both E. coli RNAP and the T7 proteins gp15 and gp16 that are ejected from the infecting virion.
