    • A test reaction was carried out in which intermediate 6d was heated for 24 h at 140 °C in the presence of CuI and cesium carbonate. After analysis of the reaction mixture only traces of 6d and 7d could be detected. The reaction mixture had a black color so we assume that 6d decomposed at this high temperature.
