Active site protonation of 1-azafagomine in glucosidases studied by solid-state NMR spectroscopy

    • The enzymes were yeast α-glucosidase (Fluka, 63 kDa, 66 U/mg), almond β-glucosidase (Sigma, 135 kDa, 25 U/mg) and Aspergillus niger glucoamylase (Sigma, 80 kDa, 40 U/mg) for which we have calculated a purity of 75, 95, and 67%, respectively, by assuming one active site.
