While the similar relation was reported for pseudocubic perovskite manganites [M. Kim, J. Jung, K. Kim, H. Lee, J. Yu, T. Noh, and Y. Moritomo, Phys. Rev. Lett. PRLTAO 0031-9007 10.1103/PhysRevLett.89.016403 89, 016403 (2002)], the way to estimate the spectral weight is different from that used here in view of the peak assignment and the related spectral range. Kim fitted the σ (ω) below 20 eV with two Lorentz oscillators. One at ∼0.5 eV and the other at ∼1.5 eV are assigned to be a hopping transition from Mn3+ to Mn4+ and a transition between Jahn-Teller split eg orbitals in Mn3+, respectively. They claimed that while the spectral weights of two peaks are rather comparable, that of the former is proportional to a functional form of x (1-x) in the doping range of 0.3≤x≤0.65.
