    • In the elemental analysis of the copper reagents, the errors of the carbon and hydrogen analyses were over ±0.4, These errors are attributed to residual unreacted reagents or water due to inadequete purification and drying. However, these should not affect the preparation of Cu nanoparticles described in this work

    • In the elemental analysis of Cu(AOT)2, nitrogen was detected. This nitrogen probably comes from the nitrate ion in Cu(NO3) 2 as a starting reagent. The amount of Cu(NO3)2 in Cu(AOT)2 was estimated to be 0.5-0.7% from elmental analysis. We used this Cu(AOT)2 for preparation of Cu nanoparticles
    • 2 for preparation of Cu nanoparticles.
