This article is a critical review of the literature on pregnancy loss and as well as comments on the need to test for antiphospholipid antibodies, it also highlights the justification for testing for homocysteine which is often overlooked and modifiable with increased intake of B vitamins.

Clin Exp Obstet Gynecol 2005; 32:49-51. As aspirin is often use as a prophylactic, with or without the presence of antiphospholipid antibodies, in recurrent miscarriage, in-vitro fertilisation or even in women taking longer to conceive, this study shows the equivalent efficacy of fish oil to aspirin.
