This intermediate (1.2 mg, 0.002 mmol) was added to the cy3B-NHS ester (GE Healthcare#25190114) (1 mg, 0.002 mmol) in dry DMF (50 μL) containing a catalytic amount of DMAP. The resulted mixture was stirred for 1.5 h and applied for purification to an HPLC system. The product was obtained as a pinkish-purple solid (1 mg, 72% yield). MS m/z 1181.3 (M+Na).
