This paper describes the effect of the DC-PMN interaction on PMNs. Upon contact, a delay in spontaneous apoptosis of PMNs was observed. Furthermore, they demonstrate the possibility of active antigen transfer from PMNs to DCs using a C. albicans model.

This paper describes the differential binding of DC-SIGN and L-SIGN to Lewis X. By mutagenesis and modelling of the carbohydrate recognition domain, they identified the amino acid which is essential for the formation of a hydrophobic pocket in which Lewis X can bind.
