    • Quite probably the reaction conditions are too mild for performing the reaction, and other conditions could lack of chemoselectivity with the different ester functionalities present in the molecule. This reduction step should be attempted at a earlier stage (i.e., with compound 13) in order to have some guarantee of success. We are currently studying this possibility and it will be reported in due course.
