The fraction of thermalized DCl molecules undergoing interfacial D → H exchange was measured to be 7% at 273 K in ref 14 versus 3% at 291 K here. We have not yet verified this temperature effect or explored it in more detail. The 291 K values reported here have been reproduced repeatedly. We have verified that Nal enhances both interfacial exchange and trapping desorption at 291 as well as at 273 K.
