    • A rapid population expansion retains genetic diversity within European rabbits in Australia
    • Dana Hawley conducted this study as part of her dissertation research at Cornell University. Now an Assistant Professor at Virginia Tech, she continues to explore the genetic, physiological, and behavioural interactions between birds and their pathogens. Daniel Hanley is now a graduate student at Bucknell University, and assisted with this project as part of his undergraduate honors thesis at Cornell. André Dhondt of Cornell University leads a multi-institution collaboration investigating host-pathogen dynamics in house finches. Irby Lovette directs the Evolutionary Biology Program at the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology and works on population and species-level processes of avian diversification and differentiation.
