    • The concentrated reaction mixture led to intermolecular benzoyl migration as a side reaction, which could be suppressed by dilution (20 times of direct migration). However, in the case of phenyl boronic acid, the reaction mixture was concentrated to 1 mL in order to accelerate the rate of the amplification since it was found that the addition of boric acid or phenyl boronic acid stopped intermolecular benzoyl migration from going further.
