    • Three alcoholic silica sols were investigated in this study: MT-ST silica (13 nm sol in methanol at 30 wt %), MA-ST (22 nm sol in methanol at 30 wt %), and IPA-ST (13 nm sol in 2-propanol at 30 wt %). In each synthesis, 2.0 g of silica sol (e.g., 6.67 g of a 30 wt % dispersion) is used as a stabilizer.
