    • Memory CD8+ T cells vary in differentiation phenotype in different persistent virus infections
    • This study characterizes antigen-experienced cells in patients with different chronic infections. It shows that the phenotype of primed cells is heterogeneous. Depending on the type of infection, predominant populations differ. This paper also reveals the problems that T-cell immunologists have in defining T-cell memory. Indeed, how can all these populations be defined as 'memory T cells', if it is well know that antigens yet persist?
