    • The CD measurement conditions: HSA was dissolved in pure water. All the chlorins and bacteriochlorins (1-9) were first dissolved in 0.5-1% Tween 80/water to a concentration of ∼400 μM. The concentration was adjusted to 5 μM by diluting it with pure water. Under these conditions, no aggregation was observed. Before measuring the CD spectrum of the complex of the photosensitizer(s) and HSA (in which the final concentrations of both the components are 5 μM), the two solutions were mixed for 1 h to form the corresponding HSA-photosensitizer complex
