    • This problem could be circumvented by applying other protecting groups for the bases in the DNA synthesis such as TBPA (4-tert-butylphenoxyacetyl), which could be removed by aqueous ammonia at room temperature. Under these conditions the desired oligonucleotide containing 15 bases on each side of the linear module could be obtained.
