    • 1H NMR spectra, indicating an important intramolecular hydrogen bonding between the carbonyl group and Hα (this internal hydrogen bonding is confirmed by theoretic calculation) between Hα and carbonyl group in the Z conformation, causing a downfield shift of almost 1 ppm in compare to the E rotamer.
