    • Nakamura et al. recently developed a successful method for hybrid threadlike micelle formation in aqueous solution of CTAB, NapTS, and sodium poly(p-vinylbenzoate)(P(NaVB)). At pH lower than 4, a clear, highly viscoelastic solution is obtained containing entangled hybrid threadlike micelles. However, the threadlike micelles that form in the system are not pure hybrid threadlike micelles because NapTS must be added as an assistant agent for threadlike micelle formation.
