This discrepancy with the preliminary results can also be explained by the presence of side products (5%) obtained in the hydrogenation step of the initial synthetic pathway described in ref 15 as this result was not confirmed with the compound synthesized by the new procedure. However the pharmacologic effects of the hydrogenated compounds were not demonstrated.
