Potentiodynamic overoxidation resistance was measured by recording the current flow associated to this process during a single voltammetry scan (from 0 to 2 V) in a 0.1 M NaCl solution at low scan rate (0.5 mV/s). The overoxidation process initially produces a current rising, and as the overoxidation proceeds the resistance of the sample increases leading to a current peak. The peak position allows us to get comparative results of overoxidation resistance of PPy samples synthesized under the same conditions.
