    • We also studied the thermal stability of the free nitroxides 10 and 14 in t-BuPh (0.06 mM) at 407 K using EPR spectroscopy. Experiments were stopped after 3 h. No decomposition was observed (within the error limits of the integration of the EPR signals) during that time. The t-BuPh solution of nitroxide 10 (0.06 mM) was further heated at 393 K for 9 days. EPR analysis revealed that still 5% of the nitroxide is present in the solution after 9 days, proving the high thermal stability of 10.
