Particle size determined by Dr. Wei Xu (Pharmaceutical Research & Development, Merck, West Point). Resin beads were mounted dry on a glass cover slip and examined using an Olympus BX51 polarized light microscope with 100× magnification. Resin pictures (all at equal magnification) were taken with an Olympus DP11 microscope digital camera.
