The Post, which had an online editorial staff of only two full-time people at the time of this study, occasionally got into trouble with these links when editors failed to update the menu text to reflect the latest AP story. An example was in sports coverage of both World Cup soccer and Wimbledon tennis matches; the Post's menu text was apt to refer to results from games earlier than those the AP was moving copy on.
