    • The workshop chemistry project involves peer-led teams, called workshops. By cooperating in small groups of six to eight students, students learn to analyze problems and reason their way to solutions. These small groups are led by undergraduate students who excelled in the course previously. To better prepare these students, they take a separate course for workshop leaders, which teaches group-facilitation techniques and provides additional chemistry depth. Originally developed for organic chemistry, the workshop program has expanded to other chemistry courses at the University of Rochester, as well as other science and non-science courses.
