note
-
Growth, food intake, and feed conversion data were analyzed using the average of each pen as one independent measurement by analysis of variance. Stocks were analyzed separately because comparisons were too large to have homogeneity of variance on all variables. Thus a simple one-way ANOVA compared the two dietary treatments with significance set at the 5% level. Body composition data were analyzed using one chick as one independent measurement by analysis of variance. The software used was Statview 4.5 on a PC.
