The surfaces of the F1HmSH and F2HmSH SAMs in the H11 series were slightly more wettable than their counterparts in the C16 series. We are currently investigating the possible influence of the shorter chain lengths of these H11 SAMs on the wettabilities using series of SAMs that possess varying values of m.
