    • 4 and evaporated. The residue dissolved in toluene (78 mL) was treated with p-toluenesulfonic acid monohydrate (590 mg, 3.1 mmol) and the mixture was stirred at 20°C for 1.5 h. The mixture was washed with water and evaporated. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (hexane/AcOEt = 5:2) to give 3 (12.2 g, 87%).
