At one time, 10% aqueous solutions of T1OH were available from a variety of commercial vendors, however, a recent search revealed only a single supplier of solid T1OH. A conversation with a Johnson-Matthey customer service representative indicated that 10% T1OH solutions exhibited both air and light sensitivity, and that they had ceased marketing the reagent for reasons of shelf life.
