Caution should be taken in the quantitative analysis from the free-form profiles because of the fact that both the periodicity and the maximum of the scattering length density are influenced by truncation effects, that is, the limited range of momentum transfers. However, the effects are minor when the reflectivity data are measured beyond the broad peak.
