    • In a typical scan like Fig. 1, out of 50 tubes measured, 23 had diameters less than 2 nm, 20 had diameters between 2 and 3 nm, and 7 had diameters between 3 and 4 nm. It is not uncommon to observe diameters less than 1 nm, but extremely rare to find diameters above 4 nm.
