    • In Ref. [14], due to limited efficiency of the photon detection, isochromat emission intensities were analyzed rather than fluorescence spectra. The present results shed new light on these earlier data. Since the entire emission spectrum is found to redshift as the tip-sample distance decreases, one may obtain an increase or decrease of the isochromat intensity depending on the wavelength considered.
