    • After prolong photolysis of 3IAI the crystal turned yellow, accompanied by a decrease of the proton-transfer tautomer emission. Under the same experimental conditions similar photolysis reaction did not occur in 3MAI. It is thus believed that iodine substituents play a role for the observed photochemistry in 3IAI.
