    • CD measurements for the mixtures of 1 and 2 were conducted especially at concentrations at which the binary mixtures form helical ribbons or nanotubes on self-assembly in water (e.g. 80% monoene and 20 % saturated). However the mixtures showed similar CD signals to the pure monoene.
